Ethylenediamine, available grades: Analytical Reagent (AR) ≥99.0%, Guaranteed Reagent (GR) ≥99.5%, Industrial Grade ≥99.0%. A colourless alkaline liquid, corrosive (Class 8) and combustible; its vapour strongly irritates the eyes and respiratory tract and may cause skin sensitisation. Mainly used as an epoxy curing agent, a chelating agent (EDTA feedstock), an agrochemical and pharmaceutical intermediate, and a raw material for polyamides and spandex.
